Despite their mutual tendencies towards being hermits - or maybe partly because of them - Gaila is fairly fond of her tiny roommate. And she's also aware that life has not been very kind to Sinthia, and she'd hate to make the girl upset.

But on the other hand, the fact that Gaila has to go away for a week is important, and she'd rather no spring it on her.

So Gaila raps on Sinthia's bedroom door. "Sinthia? You in there, sweetie?"
