after this:
Last date Gaila had been on had been back in San Francisco, with Jim Kirk. A lifetime and a whole alternate reality and over six months ago (not to mention Jim was a Grade A Jerk). This date is more of a whimsy than that one, so she doesn't exactly spend a lot of time preparing. Given the current ship-madness, she keeps the leggings and boots but swaps the jacket for one of her tunics (gold and patterned), makes sure her underwear matches, and puts in some nice earrings. And grabs the nerf gun because, well, why not.
So it is that around dinner-time, she buzzes the door to Room 762

Very. Thoroughly.

28/12/14 03:46 (UTC)"How far do you want to go?" she asks, kissing Sam's collarbone. "My people kinda treat this as having another form of conversation, which apparently isn't normal for like, most people in the Federation or on this ship? So. What do you want, Sam?"

29/12/14 15:56 (UTC)Sam checks on the pork, and starts cutting it up, hands with two knives moving almost faster than the eye can follow. The pork itself is nothing fancy, but the preparation would be something to watch.

"Long range weapon changing up to short? Or am I thinking of something else?"
Pause.
"Not that I'm objecting. I like a person who's good with their hands."

Most of the time," she concedes. "Being spun around while upside-down trying to fix a computer isn't my idea of a good time."
